The Gallery at University City Public Library

These works began as digital drawings and collages (don’t miss my first video with rotoscope animation at the bottom). Through a translation into paint, they attained a scratchy, gritty, physicality that to me suggests the ruggedness of never-ending news cycles, wars, surveillance, and political rituals to name a few of themes in this body of work.


up above the daily hum. Churn, churn, churn, the propaganda keeps it warm. While the watchman’s eyes can see anything hidden. Typing, clicking, clacking away the hours that make believe. Voices surround, what’s up is down.
