Altar of Commerce
"Altar of Commerce" is an ongoing project that delves into the intricate web of consumption's pervasive influence on our lives. Paint is a primordial, semi-viscous substance used to filter visual imagery through the mind and back into the world since the dawn of time. My paintings explore the subtleties of social control, employing symbolic imagery and vibrant colors to convey the emotions and experiences associated with societal expectations. The central theme of these works revolves around the systems that govern our lives and provoke contemplation about the interplay between conformity, resistance, and personal autonomy.
